HOW DO YOU CHARGE FOR YOUR TUTORING SERVICES?

I charge a base rate of $35/hour for all classes. Sessions that run overtime will be charged accordingly, up to a maximum of 30 minutes (or whatever amount we agree on before your the lesson). Similarly, sessions that end early will have a reduced price. Time charged for a session will start at the beginning of the call and end when we stop discussing course materials. To simplify price calculations, session time is rounded to the nearest quarter hour.

WHERE DO YOU HOLD YOUR TEACHING SESSIONS?

Until Covid-19 vaccinations are widely available, all sessions will be held virtually. The specific platform can vary to suit your needs.

DO YOU HAVE A SPECIFIC TEACHING QUALIFICATION?

No, my education background is in Mechanical Engineering, but I have plenty of experience teaching and tutoring. I have even worked as a public science communicator at Vancouver's Science World! Most professional tutors charge around $40-$45/h, so my price is reduced accordingly.

I believe everyone deserves a chance do do well in school. We can discuss possible options to reduce costs and work together to find a way to meet your needs.

Absolutely! We can book an extra session or extend your usual meeting time longer to fit in extra review (schedule permitting).
